About Me :
I went vegan in 2013 for ethical/animal rights and health reasons, primarily. Then I learned about environmental reasons, and those are valid too. I'm happy to know that this site will help parents to raise vegan children. I wish I had been vegan from conception and all throughout my life! If you would like to know more about my vegan story, please visit one of my websites at https://vegancouragement.com/deb-veve.php. I also created https://vegantegrity.com to help others learn about veganism.

About Me :
Hello my name is Jeff. I created the VeganLinked YouTube channel and VeganLinked website starting back in 2017. This was after being vegan for some time since 2011. After experiencing so many great results effortlessly I started studying nutrition and realized everyone could do this. And most importantly realizing that everyone should do this for every reason especially with our children and for them.
When I started VeganLinked I knew it would take some time to get the website going and youtube channel growing. I wasn't exactly sure how things would pan out and which direction things would go. But I just took my time over the years honing in as I explored the movement. In 2019 I produced a documentary with Jane Velez Mitchell called Countdown to Year Zero. In 2020 I started working with Dr Garth Davis producing videos in a studio I built near him in Asheville NC. Unfortunately he moved shortly thereafter and that's when I started using my new camera equipment to do interviews of vegans who were authors in the book Vegan Voices by Dr Joanne Kong. It was from that first run of interviews, about three interviews in and several hundred interviews ago, that I realized I would need to do my own documentary and it would have to be about raising children vegan.
First I had to interview as many vegans as I could to build up a channel and continue exploring the movement. Of the years I covered everyone I wanted to that wasn't a lifelong or related to lifelong vegans and started archiving the lifelong vegans and those related interviews to release all at once starting in 2024. I did this with long time vegans as well. Been releasing interviews with progressively longer and longer time vegans until I get to these lifelong vegans. Meantime I've been structuring the documentary, continuing to build veganlinked.com, and It was only a matter of time before I would get to building a site specifically for this most important message that everything has been culminating into.
So in May 2024 I started RaisingChildrenVegan.com. Once I have this site good enough I'm going to transition back into editing before I start traveling again for more interviews. But my son made me a grandfather this year so I may get a little derailed 🙂 While I'm traveling to do interviews and working on the site though it's totally functional so people can start contributing to help me build this into a most powerful tool to educate and inspire others!

About Me :
I'm a vegan mom of two amazing, lifelong vegan kids and married to my best friend and awesome vegan, Nathan (@n++). I went vegan in '97 for the animals, after reading Diet For A New America by John Robbins. I had gone vegetarian in early December of '95 and wanted to be vegan, but needed to learn that I could be healthy and vegan, which I learned from reading DFANA. I am an artist with a BFA in Art and am a former school art teacher-turned-homeschooling mom and I also teach nature-inspired online art classes.
